ZANU PF CORRUPTION IS COSTING ZIMBABWE MILLIONS EVERY DAY

Every single day in Zimbabwe, millions of dollars are being lost because of ZANU PF corruption. This is not just about bad leadership. This is theft in broad daylight. It is about a group of people in power who do not care about the country or its people. They only care about money. They only care about themselves. And while they enjoy the riches, the rest of us are left to suffer.
A good example is the recent move by the Ministry of Tourism to shift the Sanganai Hlanganani Tourism Expo from Bulawayo to Mutare. Bulawayo has the right infrastructure for the event. It has hosted the expo for many years. It is cheaper and more efficient. But because some ministers want to make quick money from tenders and supplies, they moved it to Mutare where nothing is ready.
This one move has now doubled the cost of the event. What used to cost five hundred thousand dollars will now cost millions. And for what reason? Not to promote tourism. Not to build the economy. But so that a few people in government can benefit from tenders, procurement deals, and fake suppliers. That is what corruption looks like. And it is happening every day in every corner of Zimbabwe.
This is just one example. Look at any ministry. Look at health. Look at education. Look at transport. You will find scandals everywhere. Ambulances were bought at three times the price. Roads were paid for but never built. Computers were supplied at the price of cars. The same officials are doing it again and again because no one holds them accountable. They know nothing will happen to them.
ZANU PF has turned the government into a business for personal gain. Ministers are no longer public servants. They are merchants of corruption. Every project becomes a way to make money. Every policy is a chance to steal. Every budget is an opportunity to loot. Meanwhile, the hospitals are collapsing. Children are learning under trees. Pensioners are dying poor. Civil servants are earning peanuts. But ZANU PF officials drive big cars, live in mansions, and fly around the world.
This is not just about bad politics. It is about destroying the country. Every dollar that is stolen is a dollar that could have been used to build schools, to buy medicines, to pay teachers. Every corrupt deal is a lost chance to fix roads, to improve water supply, to grow the economy. Corruption is not just hurting Zimbabwe. It is killing it.
And the worst part is they do it with no shame. They know people are suffering. They know there is no electricity, no jobs, no food. But they continue to steal. They continue to lie. They continue to blame sanctions, yet they are the ones choking the economy. It is not sanctions that moved the tourism expo to Mutare. It is greed. It is corruption. It is ZANU PF.
The people must open their eyes. Zimbabwe will not change until we remove the system that protects thieves. We cannot build a better country with the same people who have looted it for over 40 years. We need new leadership. Honest leadership. Leadership that puts the people first. Not their pockets.
Every day we stay silent, ZANU PF steals another million. Every day we keep quiet, they take more from our children’s future. Enough is enough. The time to speak is now. The time to act is now. We must demand better. We must demand justice. Zimbabwe is bleeding. And the knife is in the hands of ZANU PF.
